Our first event in Oregon co-sponsored by Legacy Health features topics on safe patient handling; sustainability, green health and facility renovation; mass casualty emergency preparedness; workplace violence; CMS/Joint Commission/DNV Update; Current issues: Legionella, Electrical 70E, Silica Dust; chemical and waste management, USP 800; injury prevention and safety culture; and, more.
Our first EHSSENTIALS Symposium, co-sponsored with Stanford Health Care, was held at Stanford University in 2014. The program has grown since then. In fact, in 2017 we’ve held symposiums in for Houston (MD Anderson), Los Angeles (UCLA), Rochester, MN (Mayo Clinic), Stanford (co-sponsored with Stanford Health Care), and now Portland (Legacy Health). Each one has a different agenda aimed at meeting the needs of healthcare EHS professionals in the region.
